Courtyard garden

An old garage dominated the site, this was converted into a home office/studio where the client could work. Different areas were created for dining and socialising with views from the studio over the garden. Three multi-stem Betula albosinensis ‘fascination’ formed the backbone of the planting to help screen the site from overlooking properties. Bespoke Cor-Ten steelwork was commissioned for the lower terrace incorporating planters and a water feature.
